Oh baby I love this game. Had it since release and boy I have to say it's probably my favorite game of all time. And I am an avid gamer. The singleplayer brings you in making you feel like you're actaully doing something to save the world from the corrupt Terran Dominion and the ravenous Zerg. An RTS at it's best. Of course there a few flaws in the interface such as no chat rooms. Some may find this not a big deal, but in my experience I've found many friends in the chat rooms of Starcraft 1. The multiplayer is simply divine--pulling you into a war-torn universe battling against swarms of zerg and groups of protoss infantry. Some say this game requires no skill. And in a way they're right. But, in another way...this may be one of the most complex game known to man(over exagerrated a bit?). Yes it does have a relatively short learning curve, but after you've got the basics down. You still want to get into it--get advanced! Easy to learn hard to master as they say. Hands down best RTS known to man.

Starcraft 2 is without a doubt, what every RTS wants to be.

New Macs play the game just fine under Snow Leopard, no difference whatsoever between the windows version in bootcamp!
