what he's referring to is the fact that many within the community constantly stood on a box saying how once all the kespa players switched full time to sc2 they would absolutely dominate the scene within a few months time. Well its been at least half a year and Code S is still mostly eSF players. No kespa players got through the recent Up/Down Code S matches. Some have had some periods of dominance and done well but not as well as people were proclaiming

I admit I thought Flash and Jaedong would destroy everyone but I've been disappointed.
To be fair though, it hasn't been long enough in my opinion. While the other pros were playing SC2 for years they were still on BW. Once they have the experience under their belt, I feel their mechanics will show.
I mean no matter what you have to admit Flash has better mechanics than 99% of the other pros right now. It's just a matter of whether he can figure out the mind-games of SC2 and build counters etc.
It's much different than how BW works.
HotS should help in my opinion, because it's like a new start. New builds will evolve etc. and they will be there for the meta-changed from day 1 etc.

the skill and APM ceiling in sc2 is too low

I think there was a time when we could have said with confidence that brood war players had such better mechanics that they would surely dominate at SC2. It's been a couple years since SC2's release now though and I think it's pretty obvious that SC2 pros have improved a lot.
There's always going to be room for mechanical improvement, but we're past the point where BW pros can come in and brute force their way up through sheer mechanics. Still though, I've seen Jaedong's stream and he's pretty obviously a hell of a lot faster than anyone else I've seen. These guys definitely have the potential to go beyond what we've seen so far, and it's pretty impressive IMO that they're even doing as well as they are, given their extremely limited experience. HotS will likely be the real indication.
