Star Wars: X-Wing

Does feel like a long time ago in a galaxy far far away this game was released.

If you want to play a piece of gaming and film history this is the game. You really can get into this game from start to finish. The details they put into this space sim at the time, makes you compare the details from the game to the movies. There is plenty of material to go through in this game. From the start you begin your training missions to the final attack on the Death Star you will almost think your in Episode Four. Even though the soundtrack tends to repeat itself I don’t think you mind the orchestra like music. The sound effects are also cinematic like. The missions briefing is also a nice touch. In all for a game that was released in 1993 this has a lot of groundbreaking features. If you get a chance to play this game even for an hour its worth playing.
