This game is gonna be my first MMO and it's gonna be EPIC :D!!

I need a nuteral faction on this one, Graphics look fine, it's an MMO afterall, combat animations look a little chunky but that's the dice rolling in the background. Think I'll wait and see how it turns out on release, I'll probably buy it and play the 'free' month and then descide if it's worth a subscription.

if this game was buy and play i'd get it for sure but idk. world of warcraft ruined the buy and buy concept for me lol. stupid to pour money out like that just to play the game you already bought.

When when when when when......is this game coming out. It looks so good and I totally agree with ESLATES the graphics have vastly improved in PAX since early footage. The early footage the graphics didn't look much different from Star Wars Galaxies now it looks amazing.

@phayde1212 I read an interview at from PAX, these graphics have improved vastly compared to earlier footage, and the devs said this isnt even the final. Graphics and animation still look poor. The least they could get away with really. Could be better if they implement some high res textures but still...

@urayanya so you didnt read my comments. because what you say isnt what i said. i didnt say it has to copy the film, i said that it has to find a way to make the the weapon fill powerful like the film did. you obevesly dont understand that the film didnt do this by constanly cutting off limbs, it did this other ways. imo a game cant do that also you quted somethink, that wasnt me

Looks super cartoony. man I wish EA wouldn't have started to poke around so we could have kotor 3 instead. Of all the MMOs coming out this is closest to the bottom on my list.

@Venatorcruiser I dont wanna go back to each game/movie to find bits, but from what you said: the Geonosians had green goo. Plus, what i was referring to is humans. Also, Plo Koon went down in a ginormous ball of flame, i didnt notice any blood or mist. Regardless, all SW movies (excluding RotS) are all PG rating. Blood, dismemberment, gore will never be an important thing in the SW Universe.

Dam it! Star Wars makes me feel tingly inside. Graphics are looking better, the Star Wars special set of sound effects are there but it still looks wooden when it comes to the aminmation. I'm really curious about how this game with play.

I really don't like the graphic style they went for, animations don't look very good either. Still give it a trial though, maybe it'll be alright ingame.

@Venatorcruiser I stand corrected. Your absolutely right. However, you do not see the Aqualish corpse, nor do you see the arm actually falling off. Its just laying there. Its not like you literally see the "blood". I mean, where was that blood in every other scene? This is one of the largest contradictions in the SW universe. That is literally the ONLY scene with blood. Look at everyone who has lost a body part (Anakin x2, Luke, Maul, Dooku, Jango, and others), the only hint of blood was in Ep 1 with Maul and that weird pink mist that appears for half a second.

@CarlitosWay Well said, i have been following this game since 2008 and i can see the improvement's they have mad and it's huge, and there is no way they are testing the game with high rez textures yet as they want it to be easy on pc's so they can focus on finding all the game breaking bugs rather than focusing on how it looks. They will probably add the higher rez textures only a month or so before the games release.

@Adema83 Bro, its pointless to have discussions with these people. One group is complaining about graphics, even though they dont follow this game like others and cant tell the improvement Bioware has made with this game. And the other group is complaining about lightsabers "not being real". The movies themselves only showed about 3 scenes of "dismemberment" and they didnt show a single drop of blood. Be "realistically" smart people. Would you really want the lightsaber to be as powerful as its supposed to be? Why would anyone NOT be a Jedi/Sith if their weapons cut through everybody. Overpowered much? And @ AzatiS You really going to base your judgments on 1 second of video, playing in one of the worst video playing formats? Gamespot video players are very poor in quality, and your probably not even paying close attention to your settings. Word of advice: dont judge a game on low res, unfinished video clips. You wanna see bad graphics? Check out their old screenshots (which i know you have NEVER seen). Youll see how great this is. And like i said, if you want crazy graphics, go play Crysis.

@mattv888 Ok you have a point on the texture quality but i doubt that the game animations are final. And i'm not a console gamer i have been a pc gamer for 16 years now. @AzatiS Is 2 seconds of footage really going to be your basis for why the game looks crap? And i did not say anywhere it looked good i was just stating that judging a game's quality before you have even gotten your hands on it is stupid.

so far its looking more and more like a single player game and less like an MMO...

@urayanya i think you missed the point of the argument (for me any way) in the films they make the light saber fill very pourful. you look at it and know it can do some damge. you dont need gore in the moives to do this. were as in a game its harder to give the idear of it beging a powerful wepon.

@ PoiBallMan You missed the part where luke was inserted inside the stomach "Camel" thing (forgot what the creature was called) to keep him warm but the cutting of the creatures' belly was almost not shown. Like I said the gore was very minimum. Even when Luke's arm was cut, the way it was shown has minimal gore. Also those kinds of events are very rear in the Star wars Battles. Count how many battles they had and count how many gore you've seen..... Do you prefer Star Wars to be bloody like the "Ninja Assassin" movie? no for me. So to the one who like to see limb cutting on starwars....You should become a director...remake the movies and games....and have a gory debate with the original makers that would surely contradict any extreme violence on the franchise.

How can you people judge of "in game" stuff, when you havent been "IN GAME"? None of you have actually played this game, but yet you judge it like if youve been playing for years. MMO's have not been games about extreme graphics. Very few of them boast extremely good graphics engines. Remember, this content is going to be fed to millions of people, some computers can handle it, some cant. Why is it that no game boasts as well as a graphics engine as say Crysis? Because its a lot to maintain, and not EVERYONE can take advantage of it. And why is it that it is "FACT" that a game doesnt look good in YOUR OPINION? None you guys judging these images now were people who were following this game since its announcement. Because if you were, you would see the AMAZING improvement they have made over 2+ years. Trust me, you think this is bad? You should have seen the lightsabers back then. They were awful. Final point: If you are just tuning into this game and judging it off of KOTOR or TFU, get off your pedestal. If you want dismemberment, eye bleeding graphics, go play Age of Conan. Let everyone else who has been admirably following this game for years enjoy the impressive updates.

Nice to see some footage of non-jedi/sith, as sparse as it was. There's a whole lot more to Star Wars, and to this game, than jedi and sith. Hopefully they'll start showing more of that other side of the game.

Good to see a few people trying to defend a, i hope a good game, the graphics is actually art style and the people who complain about "graphics also complain when a game has amazing graphics but not good game play or is not realistic, and the fact is not everyone has a super computer to run such a large game world yet to add HD graphics onto it would be senseless it would take three times as long to make a single world and by the time they had made the game everyone would have forgot about it and probably upgraded their computers or dont game on them anymore due to the next gen consoles come out, so to all complainers please think reasonably before you write about it and if you dont like the art style stop complaining about it and grow up.

IF you consider that good looking game for a 2011 release then that doesnt make me hater , but make you fans of SW that dodging the facts instead. Period

@adema83, the fact that it's not playing in the final resolution doesn't make up for the fact that the textures are low, there's little good looking shadow effects, and that the animation is choppy. You sound like a console gamer.

@Galbat0rixx I agree 100%.. In game , game looks so meh. Fights so choppy animated and no intensive at all.... I did a pause at 1:27 and 1:28.. Checked terrain and surroundings..LOOKS BAD!!! And considering this is official trailer and game might run on very high settings for trailers purpose... Game gfx engine is .. FAIL!!!... I cant wait to actually show us a lengthy IN GAME only video with some low lvls questing etc...

How have they managed to make this game look so meh?????? I LOVE Star Wars, adored KoTOR, obssessed with RPG's and MMO's yet the only thing I can honestly say looks good about TOR is that you can choose between the good and evil campaign. By God the combat looks dreadful, the visuals much less than average. I so wanted this game to be good :(
