This will be the last PS2 game I ever play - I'm moving on...

Alright, so basically, I will never play another PS2 title ever again. Why, you ask? Well, it has become appearant that Sony has completely abandoned quality the PS2 as a quality game platform. I can't say I blame them, because I mean... it's not like they HAVE to support it at all. But, the PS3 is still a little too expensive. I just can't justify spending $400 dollars on another game platform that's already in it's second year.

At any rate, as for PS2 games, this one is incredibly... lack luster. TFU for the PS2 is quite possibly the biggest waste of money I've spent in the past 4 years. Where do I begin?

Even for a PS2 title, the game is pretty ugly. Look, God of War 1 and 2 is about as good as it gets. Even MGS 3 looked great for this old platform. But it's like no one even tried with TFU.

The gameplay is repetitive, and the Force Powers really aren't all that useful. I mean, sure... it's cool enough I guess, and it's the only option you have as far as raged weaponry is concerned, but it's just useless outside of that. Maybe it's the fact that the badguys you fight seem to be a little overpowered. Don't get me wrong here folks, it's not easy to die until the last level. But chopping at the same guy for over two minutes with a lightsaber, sort of loses it's appeal after a while.

The point is, that you basically have Force powers, and your Lightsaber. You have these attribute points you spend to level the different maneuvers up, but since the badguys also become increasingly more powerful, it hardly makes a difference. All of the little saber crystals you get, don't seem to do anything at all.

The only force power that is any use at all is the one where you push something twords someone, and then shoot a ball of lightning after it. The rest of it is a waste of time, that isn't worth using.

The story - I kept waiting for this great amazing saga worthy story to show up, and it never happened. Maybe it's different on the PS3 version, but there was no story telling elements present at all. Nothing in the game even takes the time to be explained. It just lasys it out, and then assumes you to just accept it. There is no character development at all. There is no build up at all. It just sucks... through and through.

AND! It's short. We waited three years, and listend to all this hype, and watched all these "making of" movies... for an eight hour game. Somehow, I knew this would be the case, so I'm not really disappointed on this note. In fact, if the game were any longer, I would have just stopped playing for the sake of being bored to death.

My advice to anyone is this... avoid this title. Don't waste your money! Maybe the PS3 version is better, but this PS2 title is bad, bad, bad.
