Good, but could be better.

What to say? Ok, here goes nothing.

Star Wars, The Force Unleashed, on the PS2. You play as Darth Vader's secret apprentice, referred to as Starkiller. (Luke & Anakin's original last name) Although better on next gen consoles, this is still a pretty good title on the PS2. What I liked about this game are the force powers. Being able to lift some one, and drop them to their death. In fact, I think that's the funniest death. Also, I like it how you can grab item by the force, and throw them at enemies, especially bombs. The thing that I also like is the ability to customize your lightsaber with the hilt, power crystal, and color crystal. (Reminds me of KOTOR)

Gameplay 7/10 - Although the game does play well, it gets pretty frustrating at some points. I found the most frustrating are the bosses. It's a real big pain in the ass, especially when some of them call their lackeys to aid them, especially with the AT-ST's and Rancors.

Graphics 7/10 - The Character models are done really well, but we all know that the PS2 is capable of more, looking at Final Fantasy's graphics. The levels look great as well, graphically and design.

Sound 9/10 - The sound is amazing. It's great. Can't seem to find a flaw in it. But every Star Wars fan knows that we can't have Vader without the great James Earl Jones. But I heard about some contract issues. But hey, Chad Vader did a great job, but they could of edited the voice to make it a touch deeper, no big matter though. Good Job Chad Vader! (check out his videos on You Tube)

Story 9/10 - The story is great, especially the endings. Yes, there is more than one ending, good and evil. Also, there are good twists, and character development, and that's pretty important in a story. It's also good to see what happens between episodes III and IV. For those of you who are curious what happens between these two movies, this game will solve that for you

Replay Value 8/10 - After beating the game, would you want to play it again? Yes and No, but mostly yes. There is still the alternate ending to discover. Plus, any lightsaber parts you might of missed, or holocrons, for a slideshow. But be ready for some frustrating gameplay.

Overall, to be fair, this is a pretty decent game. If they were to release a game of the year edition, or an expansion, I'm sure it would be better. All in all, if your a die hard Star Wars fan like me, this game is a must play, or even a must have for your video game library.
