First i like to say that i love Star Wars franchise, i enjoyed almost all games with this theme (FPS(kinda)). I played Jedi Academy with all available outcomes, upgrades and stiles and enjoyed it every moment, must have passed it at least 8 times.

I was expecting that the new game would be huge upgrade on top of that old phenomenal gameplay...... i was wrong.
Its just another hack and slash clik your buttons as fast as you can and watch the spectacle kinda game.

First of all: "Isn't the lightsaber energy weapon that cuts TROUGH anything?" You are hitting enemies with it and they fly away like you are Dante from "Devil May Cry". Yes the game is just another platform (i like to call it that) like DMC or GOW, but that is not what the franchise is all about. While the DMC and GOW in a sense made the genre that is so popular i don't find it a good call to make clones and stick it with the new look and feel, depending on the game.
Skills look ok and the movement is nicely done. Force powers look very nice and bright and the effect you make with them on the surrounding is very fun. Everything seems to just fly around when you use them.

All and all its a cheep already seen non inventive lets make more money on the franchise game.

P.S. The story is ok and the voice acting is quite good.
