Fun, but way too short.

User Rating: 6.5 | Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II PC
I bought this game because I wanted some good ol' lightsaber action, and it didn't disappoint. While the lightsaber duels lack the elegance they had in Jedi Academy, your character has some neat moves, nonetheless, and you can slice and dice your enemies like there is no tomorrow. The Force powers haven't changed much since the previous games, but now you can wreck the environment, which looks pretty impressive at times. The final battle deserves special praise for being epic (throwing a small town's worth of electricity at Vader? hell yeah!). Combat is not very difficult most of the time, but some battles and enemies can be challenging, so the difficulty is okay on the whole. The graphics are good, and the cutscenes are nothing short of amazing; the facial animation is the best I've ever seen in a video game. What's bad is that the game is almost indecently short, and you get to visit very few locations; the number of enemy types is small, too. Also, when you play with a gamepad, the camera sensitivity is atrocious; even when it is maxed out, it takes forever to look around, which can easily get you killed. Therefore, the game gets only a 6.5 from me.
