Star wars the clone wars is a very good game. It requires you to give it a chance however. Anybody that played any of the lego games should feel right at home here. Lucas arts uses the tried and true drop in/out option for this game, and it is great for father and son fun. Now to start this off, the jumping can take a little getting used to, but once you get the timing down it is very easy. Another thing about the jumping is that there is a lock on feature when double jumping, this helps with the difficult jumps and is easy to miss. This is a good two player game with a big story and alot of trophies. In star wars the clone wars you get to do missions as jedi and clone troopers, both of which play very differently. On the jedi front you have the typical lightsaber action and force abilities. However they also added the ability to droid jak which allows you to take control of the various droids and use them to your advantage. This works very well and is quite fun. The clone trooper missions have you running and gunning with an almost gears of war control scheme which works very well. There is also a store where you can upgrade all of your abilities and buy some cool masks just for fun. Overall I think this is a great addition to any star wars fans collection or to any one looking for some light two player action. Don't believe the negative hype make your own choice. For the path to the darkside is wide.
