A good game but not perfect ...

Ok, Shadows of the Empire is based off of a book that I really love. The book was amazing. The game is actually very fun and entertaining but it does have some flaws that hinder it from being perfect.

First off, the graphics in that game a great for an N64 title. The main character model is highly detailed and the other game characters look great. The textures are standard N64 stuff but are good. And the look does make you feel like you are in the world of the movies.

The sound is also ripped right from the movies and they use the right music for the right moments to create the perfect atmosphere. All the sound effects are great too.

The story is very compelling although it doesn't follow everything that is happening in the book. But the story is cool and fun to get into.

Now for the bad news. The gameplay for the game is so so. The controls are a little wonky and take a long time to figure out. This hinders the game because the controls will cause you to die a lot.

Other than the control and camera issues, SOTE is a great game that STAR WARS fans should check out.
