User Rating: 9.8 | Star Wars Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike GC
*******note*****: If you are planning to buy a star wars game for the GC read first this review completely please, thanks.

Rebel strike is the best game of the rouge squadron's series! I always dreamed with a Star Wars game in which you could do everything that appear in the move, and complete a adventure-action-mission game. This game HAS EVERYTHING! you can attack enemy spaceships while looping; to train with your sabersword that then you are going to use in some missions. You can even use these cable-shooting spaceships to stick them in the leg of these elephant-like robots and then you got to roll until they you make them fall and explode into pieces! Then you will be able also to ride this cool motorcycles, and more. The camera angle rocks! You are able to see in third-person of in first person view (the BEST ONE! IT'S INCREDIBLE! AMAZING! YOU REALLY FEEL AS A WAR SPACESHIP RIDER!). In more advanced levels you will be able to play secret missions depending on your points (which you win by your performance in other levels: Golden Medal- 10 points Silver medal- 6 points Bronze medal- 3 points. Then you will need to get points to continue playing.

While playing you will be able to steal enemy spaceships, sometimes you will even need to enter into some enemy machines to enter camouflaged into their constructions and destroy everything as a mad man to then rescue some sequestered scientist. While you ride in the spaceship you selected, you will feel a great responsibility and your excitement will increase a lot (in First person-view obviously). Missions as destroying big spaceships are sometimes difficult, and protecting your spaceships is also difficult.

While playing, you will be able to play 3 different roads, like The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King for the GC. But missions are many and really different one of another. You will be able to control a group of spaceships sometimes, control an army of small brows creatures in other cases, etc. Completing the motorcycle stages in the first-person-view camera is also hard and frightening, because you get a terrible high speed while avoiding trees or while crossing a river and (in the case of the forest riding) fighting with enemies that are also in their motorcycles crashing you so that you explode with one of the branches coming out from the trees. The spaceship missions may be in a planet (where you can even recognize GRAVITY) or in the space (where you can't know if you are upside-down, because there is no upside-down :)! Sabersword fights and using the force is a great thing, but obtaining the sabersword and being trained to use the force requires winning a big group of levels before.

The graphics are great specially in the spaceship fighting parts, HERE THEY ARE PERFECT, 10/10!!!! but in the third-person shooting or third-person sabersword parts (you cannot put the first-person view here, but in this case the third-person view is better) sometimes there are some failure in the images display, when you force the character to move to a place where he don't fits, for example (sometimes he enters anyway).

Music and sound quality are just superb-perfect (only If you like star wars music). The bad part of the sound is when the robots keep saying: roger, roger", that gets you bored, but that is a small detail that is not going to affect very much my rating of this game's sound. The sound of missiles being launched, the sound quality of the movement of the big machines (when the enemy or when you are using it) is great.

Multiplayer: Excellent! The co-op mode is great since you got all the COMPLETE Rouge Squadron II: Rouge Leader stages but now you can play it with two players in divided screen mode. This makes the game even more exciting and intense. The dogfights and deathmatch and all the other variety of modes as motorcycle race are fabulous! you will never get bored of playing them.

All this facts, specially the one of 2 games in one are going to make the replay value great, and there is still more to discover. Probably, Rouge Squadron III is the best Star Wars game ever released, since it involves all what characters do in the movies or in the books. I firmly recommend it to any lover of the star wars movies and games. Thanks for reading.
