Star Wars Rogue Leader: Rogue Squadron II User Review
- Difficulty:
- Very Hard
- Time Spent:
- 10 to 20 Hours
- The Bottom Line:
- "Almost, but not quite"
Although I am new to the Rogue Squadron series I found Rouge Leader to be a very enjoyable and highly addictive game.
Level design is good, fun, varied and not too long, not too short.
Great graphics/textures/lighting and sound that really immerse you into the Star Wars world.
However I found the difficulty of the levels inconsistent and frustrating. Sometimes the game can be quite punishing and unforgiving so putting the hours in pays off for those who are determined to finish the game.
Also the secret upgrades and medals to collect are a great way to keep the replay value as high as possible for those who have finished the main story.
The game suffers with a lack of Co-op support to play with a friend, so your stuck fighting for the rebel alliance on your own this time.
Rogue Leader is a fantastic game and i recommend it to any fan of the Star Wars world.

Rogue Leader may be a technical marvel, but it's also the coolest space combat game available for the GameCube.

Saying Rogue Leader is the best Star Wars game is no easy task, but denying its greatness would be madness
