A fun game that combines the fps feel of halo with tactical and squad-based elements. Great story-line.
The storyline is that of commando class republic soldiers, different from arc troopers and other recon soldiers in that they are equiped for every assignment from recon to assassination, not just recon.
This game is a bit grittier than most star wars games the only one ive seen rated for "blood and gore",and its about time we seen the grittier side of star wars. Graphics use the unreal engine and even though developed for the original xbox, are quite good. Good use of shading and textures.
Great variety of enemies and weapons. In one area you must walk through a geonosian birthing chamber full of hatching eggs containing young venomous geonosians. Ive heard bad things about the humor but youve got to remember these soldiers were raised in total isolation war isnt gritty to them its just life .
Too bad this game doesn't get the appreciation it deserves.At least it has been immortalized on the xbox 360 backwards compatibility list. This game is a definite buy especially if you are a hard core star wars fan.
