Lethal Alliance is Lethally Delicious........

User Rating: 9.5 | Star Wars: Lethal Alliance PSP
LETHAL ALLIANCE is a game for the PSP based on an unheard of series of Sci-Fi movies from the 80's,......I'm just kidding, It's Star Wars Stupid!

Lethal Alliance is one of the first PSP games in which I wished was on one of the major consoles. The game has a wide variety of simple additive game play elements from acrobatics to manning turret guns that keep the game constantly fresh. The main character also relies on her droid cohort to pull off coop attacks and evasive maneuvers. All these pieces are put together to make a shockingly balanced and solid game.

Graphically SW: LA is far beyond most PSP games and succeeds most in it''s fluid animations. You won't have a heart attack or anything ,but it's the best you could expect out of a handheld machine. Slow motion maneuvers really are the main stand out here, and bring a since of excitement to the gameplay. Everything you would expect from the last generation is here, from animation of her.....hair/tentales to fancy explosions.

Story wise there is not much to it. You play as a mercenary who is working for the rebels. You do some tasks to give them an advantage, or something along those lines. It does little to expand on the Star Wars universe, which is not surprising for a portable, but the characters are very charming and make you wish there was a possibility of a sequel,.......which is doubtful. For a video game this is good enough. I mean, what the hell is a plumper doing eating mushrooms and racing go carts?

The audio gives you all the odd screaming sounds and epic music, zips and whistles you'll remember from the movies.

So basically, if you like Star Wars, video game, or anything interactive, then your set. Buy it and be a happy little loser. Now go back to your dark little corner, and cry. Your wonderfully pathetic!
