Greg Kasavin puts away his trusty lightsaber to review the Star Wars RPG from BioWare.
Great review! I'm going to buy this for xbox 360. Does any1 know if it's better on pc? Or is it good on both pc and xbox?
I am currently playing ME 1 and hoping to play ME 2 and 3. In my opinion, there is no denying that Kotor had a great influence on ME, which is a great series on its own right.
one of the main problems was they didnt gave a main objective or a place to go, so that realy anoys me. but besides that the game was awesome.
@truluvnmemphis1 @Fallout777 Please STFU. This is how a review should be. There are very few reviewers who can give so much depth to a review like Greg. Btw gametrailers is for simpletons like yourselves.
yes, gamespot reviews are soooooooo boring omg. gametrailers.com is way better for reviews, not to mention they come out when the game comes out or before, not months later
most boring review have seen recently. come on man, it sounds like you are reading off your dinner menu here....
Question...I'm a PS3 gamer and am currently working on the platinum for GT5 which involves alot of time spent with drivers doing races for me without me needing to be watching. And so my XBOX360 has been dusted off and I am flicking over to it while my PS3 does its thing. Is KOTOR worth me spending £18 to play on the XBOX while I have it wired up to kill some time while waiting on GT5 races to finish? Is it still a great game or was it just good for back in the day? Now our expectations have been raised ofcourse but is it still a great experience worth taking on?
Hearing that music always brings me a smile. I love Star Wars more than almost anything, and I LOVE KotOR. Go to www.dockingbay101.com. The music is available for download there. Just be sure you own the game legally first; you owe it to the people behind this masterpiece.
Just reinstalled this; really great game. I was really excited when I saw Greg reviewed this. I miss that man.
I bought it today. Though I could say I hated it, but I guess its just really hard in fact I'm stuck on the 2 level, LOL! need help plz!
Played this and the sequel on the PC back in the day, hoping to maybe find both on XBOX and play them again. Shame that KOTOR 3 will probably never happen, given the MMO on the way.
The number of times I've played this and its sequel goes well over the number of any other games I've played. I've always hoped for a good KotOR, but with TOR coming out, and Bioware's horrid sequel to its great game Dragon Age: Origins, I wouldn't have high hopes for the game even if they decided to make it. Here's hoping that Bioware gets it together again. At least the Mass Effect series is fun.
The PC version on full graphic settings still looks good, amazing really considering it's age - good times!
i love this game.... until it crashed on my 360 due to backwards compatibilty issues. I'm buying an original xbox just for this game! :)
This is still one of the greatest RPG games ever made. I can't believe Greg left out to mention Bastila which is the sexiest and bad ass heroine ever put to the screen. Shepard in ME/ME2 as a female is okay but still doesn't have the fire that was Bastila.
@AkroVukadin Are you saying that from your experience or from pregudice to PC? The PC version rocks like nobodies buisness, even in 2010.
I used to play this game everyday when i had my old XBOX. My XBOX got screwed up because of the CD drive crashed and now i look at this game in my cupboard thinking of its beautiful level designs and gameplay and the nice Dark side ending i used to do all the time. Its been 5 years since i played the game and i feel like playing it all over again but the problem is, the CD cracked two hours ago because of my little stupid chubby cousin and now i feel like i wanna kick someones ass.
omg i miss this game soooo much i have been looking for it for 3 years i should have never sold it :(
Still one of my favorite games. I can't help but remember how stupid I felt when I was surprised by the plot twist.
I just got the PC version for $9.99 on Steam and am loving it. Sometimes I wish they had included voice acting for the main character but its possible that players may connect more closely with the character if its not voice acted by someone else.
