For starters I want to state that as hard as I want to give the game an instant 10 I cannot because even though I love the game incredibly much I cannot oversee it's flaws.

Kotor or knights of the old rebublic is a starwars game situated many thousands of years before the first starwars film.
This means that the developers of the game could add a lot of things they wanted without changing the starwars universe.

You start of at a spaceship which is getting attacked , once you reach the droppods you land on a planet which is under sith control.
You get waked up by a fellow survivor named Carth.

The first part of the game doesn't allow you to use any force powers or lightsabers. The second you get your lightsaber suddenly almost every enemy has one too.

The story itself isn't that special but all the subquests are incredible.

Like in every starwars game you can choose to either be at the light side or at the dark side or something in between.
Even your appearance changes if you are either extremely light side or dark side.

It is really satisfaying to be evil to people or either be really nice.

As the game progresses you pick up other people who join you on your quest to destroy the dark side.

Along with the incredibly good voice acting where aliens actually speak an alien language every single one of your squad members have a very interesting past.

In the beginning they don't want to talk about it but towards the end they will start to trust you and tell you their story.
You can even have a little romance with some of the characters.
The characters are either dark or light side or neutral and if you are mean to people and you have a character with you who is light side he will object and even get angry at you.
The most fun teammate you can get is the assassin droid hk-47 which is a parody on agent 47 of the hitman series.

The combat system of the game is quite fun aswell.
It isn't like jedi outcast but more like a fast paced turn based game.
You click on an enemy and choose the attack you want to do.
You can even pause the game to give orders to your squadmaters.

You can choose to specialize in lightsabers , blasters , or the force or anything inbetween.

The game does suffer of sume bugs though and the fact that your character can't talk is a bit dull.

The games also has the ugliest hands a human can have in game history.
The beginning of the game where you don't have your lightsaber or force powers is a bit repetitive aswell.

All in all this is a great game with some minor flaws which don't take away from the fun.
I recommend it to anyone who even slightly likes the starwars universe or just likes rpg's .
