SERIOUSLY underrated by Gamespot! Which idiot gave this 8.5 and forgot to give it Game of the Year?!
I have to say, the graphics aren't great. But consider this: If this game had the world's greatest graphics, what fate might Dantooine suffer? Or even my beloved Dxun?! If it focused on graphics it would be Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2: Escape from Peragus!!!
The storyline keeps me wondering what happened to my KOTOR 1 character, Darth Revan. In fact, I fell in love with "The Exile" idea. The voice acting keeps Star Wars' best storyline ever going. This game, in alot of ways, crosses some Star Wars comics with movies. Hence a video game.
The gameplay RULES! I was skeptical about KOTROR 1, because I didn't like any RPG I had played before. I got for my birthday, and when I engaged my first SIth... The words out of my mouth were, "Great scott! This is no Final Fantasy!!!" Yes, it's true, I think Final Fantasy shoud live up to its title and be the FINAL Final Fantasy!!!
You'll get the basics of the game in no time. But, you'll only understand how to actually use each character class after a few times played. For instance, the Jedi Sentinel class is way too misunderstood.
