KOTOR returns.

User Rating: 8.5 | Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords XBOX
Star Wars KOTOR II takes place 5 years after the events of the first KOTOR, the Sith have completely wiped out all of the Jedi except one that remains, you. You have to find a way to overthrow the Sith and restore peace to the galaxy, if you roll that way. Otherwise you can help find the rest of the remaining Jedi and kill them, that's how i roll.

Anyways, there are about 7 different planets to go to and even one moon. When you first start a brand new game you'll think that it'll look familiar, which it does. KOTOR II is the SAME exact thing as the first one, except for a few changes. Just to name one, you can gain influence with your party and have them follow down the same path as you or the complete opposite path.

There is a lot of good things here such as new clothes, a lot longer storyline, more epic boss battles, and many more things, there is also a lot of bad things about this game. The game glitches a lot, on one occasion my friend told me that when he played the last level on his pc version it cut out all of the dialogue at that part and he didn't know what to say, and he ended up uninstalling the game and then reinstalling it.

The game has a lot of bugs in it, your guy will get caught in corners a lot and not be able to move or do anything. You also can't find lightsabers most of the time like you can in the first one, you can only get some off of bosses and if you're really good at creating lightsabers.

But the thing that really, really got me, as it has with other players as well, is the ending. It ended at such a random time that I started laughing as the famous Star Wars credits theme came on, I then said that's it? It's like another No Country for Old Men ending, oh well, that was on the dark side ending too.

This game has a lot of flaws but not as many, as such games as Alone in the Dark, just to name a few. But the good stuff in the game raises the score from really low to really high.

KOTOR II is not a short game, it is a lot longer than the first game ranging 40 hours and up, and it is a lot more difficult than the first one. As I said above the boss battles are truly epic and you'll remember some of the enemies for a very, very long time.

Anyways, this isn't the best Star Wars game, but it is the 2nd best, and it does a very spectacular job of living up to its predecessor. I just hope that the 3rd one will be good even though it is an MMORPG. Anyways, this was my very, very long review on Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords, and in a nutshell it is exceptionally well. An 8.5 out of 10.
