Star Wars Jedi Knight 1 cheats in star wars jedi knights 2?

When I open Star wars jedi knights 1 in gamefaq, i look at the cheats. When i try some of the cheats in jedi knights 2, it worked.

Is jedi knights 1 is linked with jedi knights 2? If so, why aren't the cheats in star wars jedi knights 2 cheats section?

Because some of the newer cheats replace them even though the older ones still work, they do the same thing. Yeah they are kinda related.
