Alot better than the older version! It was unplayable before the new game enhancements, but still has many bugs.

I believe that the only downfalls to the changes in the game are the fact that there are less professions, the bugs due to the changes, and the increase of angery players who were used to the older (unplayable) version of the game. I think the older version of SWG should of been a 3/10. There is still the minor problem of some players having really stupid character names which prevents a Star Wars game experience which one could call immersive and the occational player who thinks he's better than everyone else, but I don't think those factors are limited to just SWG and exists in other MMORPGs as well. I like how you can start the game as a Jedi as well, instead of wasting 5 or more months of heavy gaming like a social reject just to play a Jedi in a MMORPG. Let's face it most people who are Star Wars fans willing to pay to play want to play Jedi or Sith or kill Jedi and Sith, so anyone mad about the increase of the Jedi population is probably an old Jedi player who wants to gloat about how he's a Jedi and you're not, and probably wouldn't of helped you become a Jedi too. It is true that a Star Wars game set during the time era between episodes IV and V full of Jedi everywhere is not in keeping to the setting, but in the end it is just a game and the Star Wars saga watched from episodes I to VI don't really make sense all the time anyways.
