The Phantom Menace is truly a menace for everyone with a good sense of gaming.

After brilliant games like Dark Force and Mysteries of the Sith, the game based on the first Star Wars prequel movie is the game which destroys what was built with the passing of the time. Annoying combat and repetitive gameplay are the game's only features. The game is loosely based on the Star wars movie, giving you control of the two Jedi for the most time. But the easy, repetitive, small tasks you are doing all the time are not enough to earn the game something better. In these rough features I add the poor camera movement, which completely not following the action, especially when you need a good view of things. The worst maybe feature of the game is the also repetitive combat and poor use of the lightsaber (though sometimes it gets way better and satisfying to use). The only thing you have to do after all, is to press one button again and again, till you are finished with the endless number of droids which appear in every level. The good points of the game is some battle concepts which are good but extremely rushed and improperly used, the good score and voice acting, taken from the film, and the somewhat good graphics(even though they are also rushed). To sum up, I believe that you will enjoy this game only if you are a die-hard Star Wars fanatic: otherwise, The Phantom Menace will be just another dissapointing experience.
