Very different, and weird, but an all-around solid, fun game.

User Rating: 8 | Star Wars Episode I: Jedi Power Battles PS
I played this game for hours on end with my friends, and my dad and my brother. We had loads of fun. This game is extremely fun, and contrary to gamespot, I liked the Episode 1 game more. But if you liked that one check Jedi Power Battles out. This game is amazingly unique, it has loads of upgradeable abilities, a few unlockable characters, unlockable bonus force powers and combos. This is a great beat-'em-up game! This is easily the best in the genre that came out on the psx. No not even Fighting Force can stack up to it, though it's close.

Graphics: 8 Very nice graphics as far as the psx went.

Sound: 8 very good sound, it only gets an 8 due ti lack of dialogue.

Gameplay: 7, a good game. This game is really fun, but the glitches here are not fun at all. Bad camera angles and glitches kill you all the time unless you master it. Once again gamespot and I are at odds, the gameplay of JPB is nothing like the Episode one game at all...In fact the only thing that's really the same is found in the title: "The Phantom Menace".

Saber combat here is vastly superior to TPM, but honestly it's not enough for me to call it better. If TPM had this combat, I'd like it even more! But if this game had TPM's saber combet, it would freaking suck.

Well that's all I've got to say.
