User Rating: 7.9 | Star Wars Episode I: Jedi Power Battles PS
Star Wars Jedi Power Battles is basically Star Wars Episode 1 on a game. You'll travel through different environments such as a Trade Federation battleship, Theed, Gungan's homeland, etc. You'll also meet some familiar characters such as Boss Nass, Jar Jar Binks, and, of course, Darth Maul. The game offers primarily a swashbuckling adventure that is fairly fun if you don't think too much on how more fun it could have been. Aside from that, the game offers decent gameplay, sound, graphics, and value. The game suffers, however, from one minor detail: It is quite difficult to play. You'll fight numerous foes along the way and you will probably end up feeling more overwhelmed than getting something accomplished. After all, you're only one Jedi. The game also offers a co-op mode that makes things a little interesting, but still just as difficult in the single-player mode. The mode is decent, but still is difficult. So really, one would have to play the game to determine if it's a game worth playing or not.
