The simple answer is yes, but like every video game its got its strengths and weaknesses
Good
-Star wars!
-you have the option to play in the clone war era on some maps and civil war era in others and sometimes both
-some well designed maps
-play in third person or 1st person
-achievements
Bad
-AI issues
-one-sided battles
-not as many maps as the versions on the console
Game play
Well I haven't played the console versions but anyway game play is pretty fun both in third person and first person. Controls are easy to use but at times can hinder game play
(Be a sniper and you'll see what I mean) You've got game modes like instant action, conquest and challenge which is basically a mini campaign but there are 3 challenges instead of one main campaign unlike the console version. It didn't bother me too much since I haven't played the console ones but to people who have you maybe a little disappointed
Music/SFX
Pretty good since its pretty much all taken from the movies no problems here
Graphics
Its okay could've been better but you can still make things out pretty easy
Problems
Quite a few really AI issues it pretty much the thing that bugged me most for example if you play a space map (there are only 2 in this one) if you watch the AI flying the ships especially the transports they have a tendency to crash into the enemy ship a lot instead of boarding them.
The second one is also for space maps, if your tailing an enemy AI they pull off really sharp maneuvers like literary one moment your shooting behind them the next thing you know its as if the ship was flipped like a coin and starts moving in a different direction this made the game harder but it really doesn't make any sense. Finally the final issue is really some sloppy I guess map design, well not so much the map but well… I'll explained what happened so I was walking out of a room you spawn in and was going to jump (the map I forget what its called but in the map info thing its says like blockade runner) over a railing and all of the sudden I fall through the floor! Glitch wasn't uncommon in video games but the funniest and weirdest part was that I was falling for almost a whole minute and then it says "you've been killed by …" even though I fell through the floor.
Replay value
Overall it doesn't have a lot because of pre determined setting but you can do stuff like setting how many flags to capture in capture the flag.
Overall it's an okay game Lucas Arts, Savage Entertainment and Pandemic did a good job.

SW Battlfront 2 is a really good action shooter in which you can control the dark and light side of the force.

Once you have squeezed those few hours of fun out of Battlefront 2 you may as well trade it in for something else...
