Star Wars: Battlefront II User Review
A good game that will definitely satisfy you if you absolutely love Star Wars and shooters.

- The Bottom Line:
- "Just plain fun"
I have to admit, I am not a big lover with online multiplayer, for any type of game. Sad, I know. I might not even be called a true gamer but that's how I am. So when I found out that battlefront didn't support infrastructure, I was not discouraged that much. What disappointed me was the fact that there was no story mode. Although the bots in multiplayer kinda made up for the lack of any type of story and online mode, it would be much better if the game included them.
Like I indirectly said before, there isn't really much variety in the game. Sure, there is a galactic conquest mode, although it doesn't truly add much depth to the game. And sure, there are space battles, but those get quite tedious rather than fun after a while. The core of the entire game is all about multiplayer matches with a bunch of bots only. There are still your standard team deathmatches(with a capture point system) and CTF type of games so the game doesn't grow that plain so quickly. What really wowed me was the assault mode. (located in mos eisley). When I first saw it I decided to give it a try, and when i did, I was glad that I did some exploring through the game modes. You can choose either between the good or dark side. When you do, you can be any hero you want from any Star Wars era from the two factions. Yup, that's right, you can be the jedi master yoda, general grevious, obi wan, etc. You wage total war against other heroes/villans in teams. Its quite fun and can be the strongest pointer for SWBF2.
The graphics in SWBF2 are pretty good but are a little rough. The audio is superb and the gameplay is fine.Bot AI is average and won't do the most dummest things all of the time. Overall the game is a pretty package that would have been better if it had some extra goodies packed into it. If only if there were actually a story mode....

The game was very fun to play, but the lack of any story at all, and no multiplayer made the game repeat itself a lot.
