SW BF II is like junk food: You can't get enough of it, it's addicting, and most of all, it's extremely enjoyable.
The gameplay actually isn't exactly the same from the first one. You can now sprint, while draning you're stamina of course, and you have more soldier classes that you can choose from. But the most improved aspect of BF II, is that it now inlcudes a storyline, and misson objectives in each planet. That really is a neat change of pace, since you really wanted to do more than capture command posts. And one of the greatest parts of BF II, is that you finally can fight in SPACE. Yes, that's right, space. Relive the battle over corusant, and even trying to capture princess Leia's ship. All of these improved features are extremely fun to play, but the best part, is that you now can play........as a JEDI. Yup, you read right, a JEDI. Play as Darth Maul, The Emperor, Darth Vader, Yoda, and my personal favorite, General Grievous. The whole system is very well balanced, so it won't make the game TOO easy. As you can probably tell, the gameplay has improved, 50-fold.
The graphics have also been improved as well. Explosions look more realistic, there is more animation in the character models, and simply put, it looks downright awesome.
The sound. What could I say more about the sound other than it being spectacular? All I can say, is that it's Star Wars. It always sounds perfect. That's all I can say here.
Overall, Star Wars Battlefront II is like junk food: You can't get enough, t's addicting, and most of all, extremely enjoyable. If you are a Star Wars fanatic, or just an average gamer looking for one of the years best games, you've come to the right place.
