It lacks what makes the consoles great, but holds its own.

The game is different from the console and pc versions in that its missing maps such as Jabba's palace and Coruscant. Its also missing the story mode revolving around the 501st legion, vader's fist, and replaces it with missions as 3 different characters.

The gameplay works well despite some control issues. There are 4 control types and you'll find one to suit you. The modes include Galactic conquest as any of the 4 factions, quick play where you choose a set number of maps and play them, and the missions. Conquest is the best, followed by quick play, then the stupid missions!

The space battles are still here and are alot of fun but the goal can only be done by bringing down the external ship. You can't destroy the core of the ship so the marine class is really uselss. You can play as jedi, roll around in tanks and there is alot of fun to this game. There are the hunt modes on Kashyyk and endor, and the huge jedi battles on Tantooine.

The only draw backs are the graphics, which try their best but fail. Also, the lack of a real story mode brings it down and the fact that some maps are rigged (i.e. Rebels always win on endor, CIS always wins on Migeeto).

But considering it's a pocket size edition, and is sure fun for any plane, train or car ride, you should pick it up.
