It was about time Battlefront got some new life after the old series ended which blew the gaming world up. The original series was intriguing and kept me playing when I was a kid. So, I just had to pick up the new series as well. Battlefront 2 had some big shoes to fill from the success of the first one. For once in a long time, Star Wars rose in popularity in the new game. Battlefront 2 kept many things from the first one and also changed many things. For starters the 2nd featured a decent campaign that had an interesting take on whats right and wrong in the growing power of the Empire. The campaign did a fairly good job with character development and overall classic big battle action. The multiplayer includes some new modes and larger teams. Although controversy arose on several countries over in game loot boxes and whether it was considered gambling there isn't much else to Battlefront 2. The combat experience still holds that huge, intense team versus team action with a destructible environment but it doesn't differ too far from the original.
