Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron User Review

- The Bottom Line:
- "Total letdown"
Battlefront 2 on PS2 was one superb game, so I decided to try a PSP one. Unfortunately it was heavily disappointing.
Controls - The character moves like a dumptruck and the way the camera moves is confusing. Due to PSP having no second analogstick, you've got a nice auto aim ability, which aborts always when your enemy performs a roll.
Gameplay - The over-simplified game mechanics throw my interest far far away. Especially the space battles are now about just spamming fire at many enemy fighters spinning around you like flies.
Difficulty - Should be always set on higher levels. On easy you can just stand in middle of an enemy platoon and it will take a while for them to execute you.
Customization - Well, this offered something fun and new, but didn't save the game.

Not a big improvement on it's previous Renegade Squardron, but still good fun.
