- The Bottom Line:
- "Best in series"
After reading all the negative reviews I found myself expecting a seriously crappy game. But the more I played the more I enjoyed the game.
It's true that there are bugs but It's obvious that a lot of time and writing went into this game. Great story and plenty to keep things interesting. The visuals are much like the new movie style and something that I've personally have never seen in a game to date.
I'm a completionist by nature and a trekkie by heart so I paid deep attention to the story and if the game play made sense in this universe! and yes it does, There is repetition but honestly some of the highest rated games have a lot of repetition (skyrim, Fallout, Mass Effect).
So I say to anyone thinking of getting this game give it a try and you may be surprised by just how good the game actually is and how much action there is in this title.
Best Trekkie game so far, Kudos to the dev team and the director.

Too much ground battles and too little space battle, probably because the space portion is even less well thought..

Another movie franchise game that falls short in pacing, story, and originality.

Once you see past the few annoying bugs , it's actually not that bad.
