Star Ocean has a story, battle system, and idea unlike any other RPG i've seen. The entire game is pleasure, and it seems there are so few flaws because your mind will be into the game so much. Simply put, one of the best games I have ever played in the RPG genre, the story and gameplay i have never seen in any other RPG, and it becomes highly addictive, although the graphics are a bit out-dated it is just fun the whole way through. Although some of the game seems just like fight after fight it gets much better and I highly reccomend this game to any RPG gamer, whether you are new to RPG's or an expert on them.
