Okay, this bad boy of a game is definitely a must-have. SO:TTEOT is on of my favorite games, at least for the PS2. It reminds me of Final Fantasy 7, with its complex storyline. It really gets you to thinking about what is going on and makes you piece together all the clues and bits that create the entire story. That is why FF7 was so successful, as it had you thinking the whole way through. Plus, with Star Ocean being a 2-disc PS2 game, it is really long. While that may be a turnoff to most of you, to me that just meant that it was one amazing game, where the fun keeps on coming. All the secrets and side-quests, like the Valkyrie Profile characters, kept you working, so there never seemed to be a dull moment in this game. I say at least rent this bad boy and take him for a spin. You'll like it. Like most games, the beginning is a little boring, but unlike most games this one picks up the pace very quickly. A+ is its grade, that's for sure.
