Second best RPG ever. period.
Gameplay - Best battle mode ever in any RPG. I have played them all, from Shadow Hearts's "judgement Ring", to turn-basers such as FFI-X, Chronos, Breath of Fire to Martial Arts in Legaia, semi-actives like Lunar Star Story, and many others. This battle system is the best. Full-active characters running around the screen wrecking havoc. I tell you, there is nothing more satisfying then doing a massive succesion of killer moves on your opponent for 9999 dmg each, controller constantly vibrating, and Precis in the background lighting the bastard up with Tear Gas dealing over 50 hits a second. Now thats an ass beating.
Story - True old-school save the world; you couldn't ask for anyhting beter. Good guys vs. bad guys. Gotta love it.
Graphics/sound - Pretty bad. But who cares, Its PS1 for christs sake!
Characters - a CHOOSABLE main character - guy or girl, your pick. One of the many, many, many gameplay choices you will be making throughout the game.
Value - I;ve played it 4 times beginning to end. Enough said.
