Well worth the price of admission

I have now finished this game and can finally move on with my life, heh. This has got to be my favorite game so far on the PSP -- once I was able to overlook the horribly overlong cut scenes in the first third, that is. Very involving, very challenging, and ultimately very rewarding, especially if you commit yourself to beating the optional Maze of Tribulations quest near the end. You'll come out of that grueling experience so beefed up and well equipped that the final boss will be a cakewalk. I can highly recommend this title over better known psp action rpg's such as Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII.

My one major quibble is that it sure would have been nice to have a few additional save points spread out, especially at the beginning of sections right after those long cut scenes I mentioned. The graphics may seem a little unsophisticated at first compared to Crisis Core, for example, but they also grew on me very quickly, and I understand they have been substantially overhauled from the old PS1 version I never played.
