Only a month ago I played through the original Star Ocean, and I was disappointed. For it's length and backtracking, it brought the experience down for me. But when suddenly the second title was announced within a couple of months I couldn't resist but to review one ofthe greatest RPG's ever. To start off with, the story draws you in so much that you don't want to put the console down. Secondly, the graphics are truly old-school and everything just looks right. Thirdly, the length of this title is around four times the length of the original. In terms of sound and music, the voice acting is brilliant and the music is exciting with a touch of coolness (I know there ain't a word such as 'coolness', but you get the gist). In a whole, Im just trying to say that if you have never played this game before, then I urge you to buy or rent it as soon as posible and be enchanted by it's entire experience.
ps. I might have noted that Star Ocean 3 was my favourite RPG ever. Most of you people (Im not racist when I say 'you people') will probably laugh and disagree with me, but my personal experience with the game was one of the best of my gaming life.
