Once I found out about this game, I was hooked. This is the first game (that I know) is an RPG with real time battles. That is probably its best attribute for this game, however there are many more. I love how you start with Claude and Rena, and based on how you play the game, add more characters to your party. The first time I played through, I missed a couple of characters. But when I went back through it, I found more including my favorite - Ashton. He has two dragon heads attached to his back and when you level him up, the dragons have the ability to attack also. I really loved playing through both discs worth of the game. I can't wait for the next Star Ocean to come out. It has 100+ hours of game play incorporated with side quests which will make ever RPG-lover go head over heals for. If this is the direction RPG's go, I'd buy every one of them.
