The game that showed to the world how good 3-D is

User Rating: 8.7 | Star Fox SNES
Star Fox was a revolutionary game, no doubt about that. Back in 1993 was kind of hard to imagine a 3-D game, although this area was starting to be explored, there wasn't any great games that looked so good.

In Star Fox Team first adventure you will need to save the Galaxy from Andross and his evil army, in order to achieve that you will need to go through levels until you reach the final planet.

You control an Airwing, and your role is the leader of a group of brave heroes Falco, Peppy and Slippy. All of them communicate with you as you play the game, they can give you advice or just chit-chat. This adds a lot to the game, as you will feel like you actually are on a battle.

Challenge level is just awesome, you can chose among 3 different paths, each one with a certain level. You will find yourself in a big variety of space scenarios, from an asteroid field to a city.

Gameplay doesn't work so good probably because developers weren't used to this kind of graphics, but you can get used to it quickly. Music is great, although your friend's "voice" is kind of annoying the background themes are solid.

The polygonal design of the game is just perfect to a future environment and it looks astonishing. Replay value is a good factor here, as the game's adventure is not long and you will play it sometimes before getting bored.

Star Fox presented a big revolution concerning graphics and it is a good game. With awesome scenarios, nice characters and thrilling battles this game is a classic.
