It Roxxors My Soxxors!
Gameplay: 10/10 Tried and tested, just shooting plain bad guys is simplcity in its self and will give a few hours of immersive gameplay, aswell as that, there are multiple paths for you to tread which will give u some extra gameplay time
Graphics: 7/10
In today's standard, it looks blocky + badly rendered, but still holds up its unique retro look quite well. Its good the way that they used different flat textures to give the impression of 3d, i wonder... if i got this while it was originally out, i wonder what my impression would be...
Sound: 8/10
Roxs... they'll be tunes running through your head for days on end... very good soundtrack for a snes game, they even included a full blown dialogue at the end, well ahead of its time :P
Value: 7/10
This is where Starfox fails to suceed, the replay value.... 3 paths = not much gameplay... but the gameplay is so simple you might want to play it over + over again! Starfox was simply a tech demo at the time, so its not really suprising... It would have been much better if it included so much more levels.....
Titt: 10/10
Anthromorphic animals flying plane like spaceships called Arwings? Crazy? Yes! But its a good thing to build it on, better than some other story about a loner pilot....
If you have a SNES and are looking for some retro goodness, Starfox is a definite game to check out!
