Eve of Extinction is a trilling and crazy game. If anyone likes a beat'em up type game with and oldschool twist this....

The graphics for this game are amazing for the time it was out. The graphics arent bad for the year 2005. The backgrounds are nice, yet slightly dull, and the characters are done pretty desently. the lighting effects are really neat and characters arent bad although every villain for the first couple stages look exactly the same. All in all the motion is fluid and that games graphics arent too badly done. I commend them.
The gameplay is much like a 3d beat'em up brawler. With many many battles in each level no one can say that this game doesnt give you enough to do. The games mechanics are very promising and utilize ideas i wish would be utilized in the games now. Its unique weapon system and special uses for the weapons are great. You can use the pole to spring higher up and do many many more things. The fighting system, although a tad out dated is like a awkward version of Devil may cry. It allows you to change weapons in mid attack making a strangely awkward looking combo that does more damage and for some reason looks kinda cool considering its awkward ways.
The story isnt very indepth and lacks a lot of key elements which lay at fault of the writer. Its matrix like look is very strange and isnt the greatest. Plus the annoying voice of a "Navi" like girl is always ringing telepathicly in your ears. All in all this game is so-so. Check your bargin bin if you wish to buy it!
