My first ever Star Fox game and a good one as well
Story
The story is right at the beginning tells about what happened to Foxs dad James MCloud who went to investigate Andross planet and that James MCloud didn't survive and they need the Star Fox team to help them
Gameplay
The levels are not that long they can be done in about 10 minutes but at the end of most you face a boss. You travel to certain planets with the Star Fox team of Fox MCloud,Peppy Hare,Slippy the Toad and Falco Lombardi. You control Fox MCloud and you have to do certain missions and beat a boss sometime Falco offers to give you a hand in battle but Slippy and Peppy aren't that good at helping. The Star Fox team has rivals called Star Wolf who you meet at least twice in the game and they make up of Wolf O' Donnell,Andrew Oikonny,Leon Walski and Pigma Dengar and they all go after certain members but you have to worry about Star Wolf the most. The gameplay is easy and simple to learn.You get items like lasers and bombs to use.If you press R twice you do a barrel roll, you can accelerate and slow down as well and are all required in this game.
Sound
Your team pilots speak to you sometimes but Slippy can be very annoying and Falco has a bit of an attitude in the game. The sound for this game is nice and the sound effects are really nice.
Graphics
This has very good graphics the detail of the levels and characters are nice and so is the layout of most levels in the game.
Overall Opinion
This game can be complete in less than an hour which is a bit of a shame I believe they are extras in this game. I believe it could have been longer but this game can be done in one sitting which is a shame some of the bosses can be easy as well but overall this isn't a bad game at all. I think if you missed the N64 version you should try this game out.
