Great game, no flaws, abousolutely perfect.
The most stunning visuals of its era (N64 if you didn't know) makes some scenes unforgettable and will stick with you for the rest of your life. Whether it be destroying Star Wolf (Star Fox's Enemy) over and over again, or destroying the enemys bio-wepon. Whatever it may be you won't forget it.
The game starts off with a call from General Pepper, asking for Star Fox's help to go to Venom (Andross's Homeworld) and destroy Andross. The first Star Fox team is made up off James Mccloud, Peppy Hare and Pigma Dengar, they arrive at Venom only to be betrayed by Pigma and Peppy and James get captured by Andross but only Peppy manages to escape, and tells James's son about his dad's fate. A few years later strange activity is located on Venom and a new Star Fox team is sent out to search. This team is made up of Fox Mccloud (The Main Character And Player), Peppy Hare, Falco Lombardi and Slippy Toad.
There are 15 levels you can battle through but only 7 at a time, making the game a replay game so the player has to go through it more than once to complete it. There is also the addition of medals where the player has to have a certain amount of kills in the level and all members of the team still alive again another replay action.
If you have never heard a Star Fox soundtrack you have not heard an epic soundtrack. The music in Star Fox 64 was composed by Koji Kondo and Hajime Wakai.
Overall Star Fox 64 is a game that you do not want to miss, and should definitely get if you already dont.
