Something caught my imagination back in the day with this one it sort of came out of nowhere for me. Having been interested in racing games and a solid stint on Wipeout i thought id give this one a go.

Visuals were stunning, for the time, and the learning curve wasnt too steep, its was a ball from start to finish. Great mix of characters to choose also, from dredd-locked cool boys to sassy ladys theres something for all. What caught me was the atmosphere of the experience. The music is bang on for this genre and they have nailed the upgrade options. This title deserves a new lease of life with an online community and maybe guns (joke).

Controls were easy to get a hold of and ramping up on levels is pretty good, if my memory serves me right.

All in all very good, and in many ways what arcade simulation is all about.
