I've had SSX for a while. For me it's one of the games that I get for cheap and then never really play after the first time. SSX is just really hard, I can honestly tell you I never got past the second 3rd level on world circuit and it was one of the easiest levels. Not only that, but I never figured out how to grind, the stupid game doesn't tell you and all the racers are stupid. I hate all of them. Even the chick with big boobs. I hate her too ya know....
Since I'm usually not so criticial of games I thought I'd tell you a bit about it. There's about 8 boarders and 8 levels, you start with 4 characters and 1 level. There's a free race, trick level thing, and a world circuit. I personally hate the trick level part the most because I can not land a trick for god knows what. The racing isn't that bad, but every once in a while your jump isn't big enough and you land face first one foot ahead of you. I'm not a big fan of the gameplay. Technically the game does great though. It had really good graphics for a playstation 2 launch title, although it does have the most boring menu screen ever...and the sound is alright too although the announcer gets annoying.
If you like really challenging games, or snowboarding I think you should buy this, but if not then stay away from it. Even if it is for cheap.
