Bad Graphics, Horrendous frame rate and game play issues rob Spyro Enter the Dragonfly of any value it could have had.

User Rating: 4 | Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly (UK) PS2
The Good: Some fun mini games and challenges, new breath powers are decent.

The Bad: Graphics are very bad, Frame rate is unacceptably slow and choppy. Loading times are outrageously long between levels. Bubble breath rarely ever works to capture dragon flies. Ending level is downright impossible to beat.

I was a big Spyro fan growing up playing the great PS one games this franchise had. So when I heard about a new PS2 game for Spyro to me I had to have it. When I got it I was disappointed to say the least. This game's graphics really are terrible, in fact they look worse than the PS one graphics did because at least those were smooth. This game to me captured none of the Spyro magic that the PS one versions did. The levels were buggy and didn't seem nearly as well put together as the other games. Under all the issues this game has, it isn't completely unplayable. There still are some fun challenges like in the past games, but they are few and far between and really are brought down by the games graphic issues. Oh and if you played through the game like me you would probably have noticed that the last level in this game is downright impossible to beat. To this day I haven't beat it but there is no need for me to. Truthfully I've seen more than enough of this game.
