You get those classic charge attacks. And flame attacks. You can headbash, supercharge, glide like the previous Spyro games. So what’s the problem?! In addition you have an upgraded version of your breaths (fire, water, ice, and electric) and a shockwave headbash upgrade, which is very cool actually.
Mini games you ask? They are pretty good actually especially the sergeant bird speedways. Seriously, the bird’s got mint as handling and has got a nitrous turbo boost which induces a motion blur effect that looks freakin awesome. The ball gadget mini game also has a nice turbo boost which turns the ball red to emphasis speed and when you hit the brakes, you can see and hear the friction of stopping and trust me, it’s satisfying.
Wouldn’t shooting flaming arrows be fun? That’s what playing as Hunter is for.
Sure this game doesn’t really build on the PS1 Spyro games, (which were incredible) That’s because it’s its own game. Yeah it’s sometimes annoyingly colourful, and is childish.
But I don’t care. My friends don’t care. Why do you care?
