Looking back on SpyHunter, you can't help but realise that the old games have still got it in them, and this is 2007!

It might be hard to take in that SpyHunter was released nearly 6 years ago. For me, it was one of the first games in my PlayStation 2 collection - I think it might well have been my first, but seeing as it's so long ago, I really can't remember.

SpyHunter still plays as well as ever. Looking back, it was probably one of the best spy/driving games on the PS2. You simply selected one of the 14 different missions, and off you go. You've got your objectives, now complete them. It was one of them games where you simply make your way from start to finish non-stop, completing the objectives on the way - and it worked! SpyHunter was terrific fun, and the crazy multiplay games like Chicken Hunter were positively insane.

SpyHunter is a great game for all PS2 owners, but probably not a must have. Maybe it was a few years ago, but although it's still an awesome game in 2007, it's not quite THAT good compared with titles for the PS3 and X360 that are being released, taking Stuntman: Ignition for example.

I'm not saying you shouldn't check the bargain bin, though!
