Can't register?

Whenever I try to register, it gives me an error saying that my CD-Key cannot be validated. It's the galactic edition if that means anything. Is there any way to fix this?

It turns out that someone else had registered the cd-key. Doesn't make much sense because I bought the collectors edition buy I took it back to the store and got a new one.

Someone else registered the cd-key so I had to return it to the store.

Does the computer in question have Internet access? Internet access is required to install the game.

You need internet access to validate the first time you play it.
