Its not that SS: TYA isn't a fun and entertaining game, its just there is so much more that could have been done.

Spongebob Squarepants: The Yellow Avenger sets you as none other than Spongebob himself. He must fight the evil Ditry Bubbles and several bosses to save Bikini Bottom. Ok, first off, the gameplay is good enough to control on a single enviornment, but when you come to crossroads, sometimes the buttons think you want to crouch. This gets so annoying. And if you read the beginning teaser, this game gets confusing. Like some of the other Spongebob games, it is hard to tell exactly what you need to do next. You could walk around for hours without even considering that you have a mission list. But even if you look at it, it won't tell you where to find the thing you need. And some of the missions are too simple! Like one, you had to shake a bag to give Gary food, and out poopped a key. Who puts a key in a freakin' pet food bag! But the graphics are pretty good compared to the early Spongebob games. And some of the super moves you earn can be cool. But what really agrivates me is no autosave feature! You have to save it yourself, who does that nowadays? I mean some great games have you saving it yourself too like Bully, but atleast it is easier to find than in SS:TYA. Also, everytime you move from one area to another, it takes forever to load. And Spongebob's face appears up during the loading, after a while it gets really creepy. Though it does show good detailed enviornments. And it does give you what you have come to expect from the Spongebob franchise. It is a good game, but it isn't the best Spongebob game, that was Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom.
