All the good SpongeBob, such as Revenge if the Flying Dutchman and Battle for Bikini-bottom put this game to shame.

User Rating: 4.5 | SpongeBob SquarePants featuring Nicktoons: Globs of Doom PS2
Gameplay: 5

Anybody who has played either Battle for Volcano island or Attack of the Toybots will definitely agree that the gameplay is no different from previous games. At first you will probably find this game a fair amount of fun but after an hour or so, it becomes extremely tedious and repetitive, largely because you have to the almost exact same thing in every single level (with the exception of the boss battles) Free all your friends from globs, find trophies to unlock cheat codes etc. it grows weary after the first couple of levels.

Graphics: 3

The graphics of this game are quite possibly the worst part of Globs of doom overall. The graphics are so bad that occasionally, it makes me feel sick. (Some of characters aren't even recognisable) The graphics are the kind are too bad to look at to be on anything or more advanced than a Playstation 2 or that, and yet too good to be on anything less advanced then a Playstation 2, so basically the graphics are pretty much caught in between.

Plot: 3

Like a lot of the episodes of SpongeBob that have been airing on TV recently, the game has an very unoriginal and cliche storyline, particularly the main villains name: Globulous Maximus, sounds kinda familiar doesn't it. Not only that but most of the games storyline seems to be recycled, such as unidentified flying objects take of the minds of every life form on the planet and the good guys and bad guys teaming up and in the end the good guys get double-crossed, very predictable.

Music: 7

There isn't really much that I can say about the music, the music is okay but definitely not perfect; all and all, I give it a good 7 out of 10.

Overall: 4.5
