sometimes, something new is just well forgotten old stuff...
Unlike vast mayority of racing games, SS offer a possibility to mess with your rivals, by means of activation of explosive devices and other stuff that makes them to crash... It is pretty funny and exciting. The idea is not new, at all: I guess you still remember Megarece II, a pretty good racing games, in late 90`s... the idea was pretty similar: you had an armed car (missiles and mines), which could (should) be used in order to slow down your opponents... the game was pretty cool, and I have spent many hour paying it.
For years (decades), I have not seen something like Megace, and even less, I have not expected that this kind of game could come from disney...
Anyway, the effort must be recognized...
The games is pretty good in all aspects: gameplay, graphics and controls... Regarding graphics, it looks a bit old fashioned (compared to latest release of NFS), and it seems it does not manage well the resources of video card... however it is nothing bad.
Gameplay is pretty immersive, and does not let you relax for a second....
In order to finish, I`d say that SS ain`t a masterpiece, but it is a good game, that deserves to be played at least for a while....
